How billing works
Four rules. No surprises.
One portfolio minimum
You are billed for at least 1 portfolio every month. This applies when the portfolio is inactive.
Research allowances
Each billed portfolio includes 5 active paper strategies and 100 backtest runs a month. Starter includes 3 and 20.
Users
1 user is included. Add more at US$10 (Starter), US$20 (Pro) or US$10 (Ultimate) per month.
Tax
Prices are before tax. VAT, GST and other local taxes are added by jurisdiction.

Do I pay if my portfolio is not active?
Yes. At least one portfolio is billed every month, whether it is active or not. The minimum bill is one portfolio at your plan's price.
Are these prices before tax?
Yes. All amounts are before tax. VAT, GST or other local taxes are added on top, based on your jurisdiction.
Is there a trial?
Yes. You can start with a 1-month Starter trial. Create an account on the Start Now page.
What is a paper strategy?
A paper strategy runs your logic on live market data with no real capital. Each billed portfolio includes 5 active paper strategies. Starter includes 3.
What is a backtest run?
A backtest run tests one strategy against historical data. Statistical models and machine-learning models count the same as rule-based models. Each billed portfolio includes 100 runs per month. Starter includes 20.
What happens when a portfolio grows past its AUM cap?
The portfolio moves to the next plan. The AUM caps are US$1m for Starter, US$8m for Pro and US$50m for Ultimate. For portfolios above US$50m, use Enterprise.
How do extra users work?
Each plan includes 1 user. Add users at US$10 / month on Starter, US$20 / month on Pro and US$10 / month on Ultimate.
Can I change plan or cancel?
Yes. Both are available from account settings. A change or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Is this really enterprise-grade if I can sign up with a card?
Self-serve is how you get in the door. It is not a lower tier of the product. Every account runs on the infrastructure described on the Security page.
